Wheel & Loot-box Rules

These Rules apply to features in which a Fan pays for a spin, entry, or chance and receives a randomly selected digital reward — for example a "Fortune Wheel" or loot box (each, a "Reward Feature"). They are part of the Para Terms of Service. The purchase of a spin or entry is a Creator Interaction and is also governed by the Terms of Use and the Contract between Fan and Creator.

1. How a Reward Feature works

• A Fan pays a set price for a spin or entry.
• Every paid spin or entry delivers content on Para, whatever the outcome. There is no "losing" outcome, no empty result, and no chance of receiving nothing of value.
• The name or label a Creator gives a reward is descriptive only. Whatever it is called, the Fan receives the actual content assigned to it.
• A reward may also include additional access a Creator gives to their own content, including on another platform — an optional extra on top of the content the Fan receives on Para.
• The reward is selected from a defined set of possible rewards.

2. Odds and rarity disclosure

Before purchase, the Fan is shown the relative rarity of each possible reward type (for example, how common or rare it is). We may update reward pools and rarities prospectively for future spins, and any change is disclosed before purchase.

3. What a reward is — and is not

A reward is content, or access to content, that a Creator makes available. Content on Para is provided as a revocable, limited, personal licence. A reward:

• is content or access to content — never money, and never a voucher, coupon, credit, or other instrument redeemable for cash or value;
• has no cash or monetary value and cannot be redeemed, withdrawn, or exchanged for cash, credit, or any real-world value;
• cannot be sold, traded, gifted, transferred, or assigned to anyone, and no secondary market is authorized; any attempt to do so is void and may result in enforcement;
• may include content a Creator provides on a third-party platform; that content is provided by the Creator, not by Para; and
• is subject to the same automatic-expiry rules as other Creator Content (including expiry on chargeback or reversal), to the extent it consists of content on Para, as set out in the Contract between Fan and Creator.

4. For entertainment — not gambling

Reward Features are offered for entertainment. Because every paid spin or entry always delivers content on Para of the kind described, a Fan always receives content, never "loses," never receives nothing, and never wins money or a prize of monetary value. Any additional access a Creator provides is an optional, non-guaranteed extra with no cash value, and is not a wager, prize, or thing of monetary value. Fans pay for digital content and entertainment — not for a chance to win money or anything redeemable for money — and cannot "bet" or "win money." By using a Reward Feature you acknowledge that you are paying for digital content and entertainment, that you always receive content regardless of outcome, and that no reward or extra has any cash value or can be redeemed for money.

5. Creator descriptions, values, and responsibility

Any title, description, or value a Creator gives a reward — for example, that content is "worth $200" — is the Creator's own statement about their own content. It is not a price, not a cash value, and not an amount you can obtain, redeem, or transfer, and Para does not set, verify, endorse, or guarantee it. Where a reward includes content or access a Creator provides (including on a third-party platform), the Creator alone provides it and is solely responsible for it — its content, legality, availability, accuracy, and any value claimed. Para provides the spin and the content on Para only, is not a party to anything a Creator provides off Para, and does not guarantee it. Creators represent and warrant that their Reward Features comply with law and our policies, and indemnify Para in respect of them and of any value they state, as set out in the Terms of Use. If a reward seems misleading or non-compliant, report it via the Complaints & Content-Reporting Policy; we may suspend or remove it.

6. Payments and refunds

Spins and entries are Creator Interactions and, like other digital purchases, are final and non-refundable once the spin or entry is made, except where applicable law requires otherwise (see Terms of Use Section 11 and the Contract between Fan and Creator).

7. Eligibility and availability

• Reward Features are available only to verified Users aged 18+.
• We may restrict or disable Reward Features by jurisdiction, and they are not available where prohibited or restricted by law.

8. Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any Reward Feature, reward pool, or rarities at our or the Creator's discretion, on a prospective basis.
